Emma Potts is a Virginia-based soprano whose work spans opera, concert repertoire, and musical theatre. She is a frequent soloist with ensembles throughout Central Virginia and is passionate about using music to tell meaningful stories, foster connection, and create memorable experiences for audiences. During the 2026 season, Emma will perform the role of Mary in the original production of The Gift of Jesus with MVBC Productions, appear as a featured soloist with the VCU Health Orchestra for their 10th Year Anniversary Concert, and join the Richmond Pops Band for their annual Veterans Day Concert. Some career highlights in 2025 include covering the role of Maria in The Sound of Music at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts and appearing as a featured soprano soloist with several orchestras and wind ensembles. She holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
